Get creative with this easy recipe. The onions are readily available from Geneva Lakes and River Valley Ranch. Serving ideas..add some mushrooms from River Valley, get a flavored oil from Wild Tree, and top it with goat cheese from The Cheese People. Put it on a baguette from Wild Flour or Katic Breads and you have a great appetizer. Don’t forget the wine from Glunz Family Winery.
- 2 medium onions, each cut into 8 wedges
- 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil
- kosher salt and black pepper
1.Heat oven to 425° F. Toss the onions, oil, and ½ teaspoon each salt and pepper on a rimmed baking sheet. Roast, tossing once, until golden brown and tender, 18 to 20 minutes.
